Johnny Cash: Orange Blossom Special

Johnny Cash – Orange Blossom Special~8.5 out of 10
Orange Blossom Special is an amazing record from start to end. Johnny covers three Bob Dylan tunes including ‘It aint be Babe’ in this 1964 masterpiece of music literature. Johnny Cash is the only musician to be able to transcend genres over and over again so flawlessly. The record starts out with the title track that has some, even to this day, very impressive harmonica playing on it and ever present Cash’s timeless vocals. The album moves on to classic prison tunes and flows nicely into some well done religious songs like ‘Amen’. The record ends with ‘Wildwood Flower’ then followed by ‘Danny Boy’ which brings this record to a great close. Recommended to fans of music of all types.
